Sunbears Paedatric Therapy aim to provide a holistic family centered therapy service to children and their families in the Sunshine Coast areas. We believe that every child is unique and different intervention approaches work for different children. We specialise in working with children and young adults from 0-25 years old.

Sarah completed her degree in occupational therapy graduating from the University of Sydney in 2011. Since then she has worked across a variety of public and private paediatric services.
Sarah is passionate about working with children and families to achieve their goals. Sarah enjoys working with children of all ages, using a play based approach to achieve functional goals.
Sarah has worked in a variety of settings with specialised experience in vision impairments and upper limb hemiplegia after Paediatric stroke or brain injury. Sarah has trained in constraint induced movement therapy and bimanual therapy. These techniques are considered the gold standard for therapy in hemiplegia.
Therapy experience includes managing a diverse range of caseloads from babies up to teenagers including; autism (level 1-3), anxiety and behavioural challenges, developmental delays, chromosomal disorders (such as Down Syndrome, Turner syndrome), ADHD/ADD, ODD, learning disabilities, juvenile arthritis, paediatric stroke, brain and spinal injuries, vision impairments, developmental coordination disorder, intellectual disability, fetal alcohol syndrome, congenital limb absence, muscular dystrophy and trauma backgrounds.
